Écouter Voir
Same budget: 35 optimised stores against 34 controls
A Christmas campaign across 69 centres in Normandy, split in two: one half run by Mob Pacer, which reallocates budget between Meta and Display every four hours, the other left unoptimised. Same budget, two results.
The context
Écouter Voir is the eyewear and hearing care chain of the Mutualité Française. This campaign covered 69 centres in Normandy, for an end-of-year operation: up to €60 off your next prescription glasses, in November 2025.
The objective was store traffic, with targeting built not on a radius but on travel time: ten minutes’ drive around town-centre stores, twenty minutes around out-of-town ones.
That left the question every advertiser ends up asking its agency: what optimisation really contributes. Not the campaign’s result, which can be measured, but the share of that result that comes from how the campaign is run.
What we did
The campaign combines Display and Meta, with creatives that carry the name of the nearest store and a prompt to visit it.
On top of that, Mob Pacer adjusts the budget split between channels every four hours, store by store, based on performance observed in real time. Each point of sale has its own optimal split, depending on its catchment area, its audience and each channel’s track record.
To isolate what this is worth, the network was split into two groups of equivalent potential: 35 stores run by Mob Pacer, 34 left unoptimised, on an identical budget. The figures in the next section come from the comparison between the two, not from the campaign’s raw performance.
Results
On an identical budget, the group run by Mob Pacer records an average estimated uplift of 11.4% in clicks and 3.7% in the in-store visit score, compared with the control group.
- Two groups of equivalent potential, formed before launch, one of them left unoptimised.
- Budget reallocated between Meta and Display every four hours, store by store.
